Week 22: My Meow-spiration
I work in a lot of different mediums, but there two muses I can't do without: a hot cup of tea and my enormous ragdoll cat Mika.
This image was painted at the first official meeting of the Cleveland Drink and Draw Social Club (!) with watercolor and Faber-Castell pitt pens. It was then transformed digitally while daydreaming about screenprints. I will update this post soon with a link to the original.
****UPDATE****
1. Click here to see the original artwork on the CLEVELAND DRINK AND DRAW blog!
2. To be honest... sometimes I cheat on the tea with coffee. Or wine.

This is a cool piece Erin, it totally looks like it's a print of some kind, and I really, really, love your signature here.
ReplyDeleteAgree with Tim, that's some right fine Signature going on. Loved seeing this progress through the night, you make me want to get my watercolors out! Any chance we can see the piece before it got adjusted?
ReplyDeleteIt oozes Erincoolness... I really love your choice of color palette on this as well.
