Randy, Round 34: Legend Of The RBMC's Gold

For the second year of our website, I made a resolution to not do so much sleazy work, but just like my resolution to stop drinking whiskey, it didn't last very long.  I always wanted to take the famous artist course, but got around to it. So, for this challenge, I wanted to show what I learned on the mean streets of the art world outside of school.  

The other thing I learned on the mean streets was unapologetic commercialism, and you can buy this image as a sticker for only $2.50!  Go HERE, throw us some dough, and make whatever you stick this sucker on way cooler.

In spite of the work quickly piling up on my desk, I wanted to get at least the pencils of my Tron/Boba Fett mashup posted before the next challenge.  

I can't wait to light this sucker up and make my inner 14 year old all giddy.

For the last two parts of this series, I'm using my pal Doll Bambino as the model. Partly because she owes me a favor, partly because she's a great homage to Crumb and Coop's devil girls, but mostly because she already had a devil costume.

Drawing devil ladies is fun, but it's way funner at the Cleveland Drink And Draw Social Club.  This style seems to benefit from booze being poured on top of it. 

My liver hates this style.

Devil's Work Pt.1

I didn't really know what to draw for Halloween this year, but my boss and I have an expression around the office. 

"You can always draw the devil"

So that's what I'm doing...thirteen times.  

Every day until halloween I'm going to post a new devil lady drawing. It'll be like an advent calendar for hedonists.

Round 28: Momma Said Knock Hitler Out

Remember that time Sgt. Rock punched Hitler in the face and ended World War Two?  I'm pretty sure that's what happened, but then again I didn't really pay attention in school.

...Which is probably why I draw cartoons on the internet. 

Crider WK24: TMNT

The ninja turtles are the first things I drew when I quit playing little league and starting focusing on art.  They're near and dear to my heart. 

So maybe someone should let me draw a ninja turtles comic book.  

WEEK 20:Batman Smash!

Been a while since I've posted, and been a while since I've inked by hand. Let's fix that today. 

This started at our unofficial Drink And Draw Social Club launch when I drew an overly beefy Batman, also I was having a bad week and drawing The Hulk will always fix that. 

The Hulk is the artists prozac.

Week 17: Kracka BOOM

One of my best pals performs under the name Thor, so when we got the challenge there was no other choice for me but to feature Marvel's Thunder God.  So there Lisa, I drew this thing.     

I love drawing in this style, and I really hope they do this next year.  Because I'm itching to draw Namor macking on Sue Storm. 

Never trust a lady that can turn invisible, fellas.
