Lord of the Gun

It is the name whispered by many a gunfighter. In that moment in the sun before the dirt and blood, in the blink of an eye, before the gun is drawn. They whisper, "God please let me be faster." But no god would favor the taking of a life. Except one. It is said he was the first human life taken by a bullet. No one knows when or where. He died unknown and nameless. There are many stories of who he may have been and how, or more importantly, why he died. Some believe he was slain defending his country. Others say he was killed and robbed over material possessions or defending a loved one. No matter the nature of his downfall, he is always there when a gun is drawn. He alone decides who lives and who dies. He harbors no ill will and judges with extreme prejudice. Always accompanied by his mistress. Death.

  2. Wow. Simply wow. Love the backstory too. I'll have to start thinking more deeply about my characters before the drawing starts.

  5. Thanks gang..Yeah Trejo and Lee VanCleef were my inspiration. The story thing comes from my comic gigs. I do it with most, if not all ,of my pieces.
